Joni Simpkins Joins Laguna Cliffs Marriott

* Joni Simpkins has been named resort director of sales and marketing for the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort in Dana Point. She was formerly the Los Angeles-based corporate director of sales for Richfield Hospitality Services and before that was director of sales and marketing for the Westcoast Anaheim Hotel.

* Michael Kula has been appointed account executive at Lages & Associates in Irvine. He was previously an account executive at Paine & Associates.

* San E. Vaccaro has been named a director of CVB Financial Corp. and Citizens Business Bank in Ontario. Vaccaro is a partner in the Irvine law firm of Bye, Vaccaro & Winsten LLP and was formerly chairman of the board of Orange National Bancorp and Orange National Bank. In addition, Gregory Savino was appointed vice president and manager of the Saddleback Valley office. He was previously senior vice president and credit administrator for Southern California bank, and executive vice president/senior loan and credit officer for Pacific National Bank.
