Santa Ana Rolls Past Rio Hondo

Santa Ana scored three second-half goals to defeat Rio Hondo, 4-1, in the Southern California men’s soccer playoffs at Santa Ana.
Santa Ana (22-0) will host Pasadena in the regional finals, Saturday at 1 p.m.
In another playoff game:
San Diego Mesa 3, Fullerton 1--Hector Navarro scored a goal for Fullerton (15-6-2).
At the Southern California women’s soccer playoffs:
Cypress 2, Pasadena 0--Lisa Hermen scored in the first minute of the game and Jane Specht put it away with a goal in the second half to lead host Cypress (24-0). The Chargers will play College of the Canyons in the regional finals Saturday at Cal State Fullerton.
