In an effort to retain local businesses, the city is sponsoring a free seminar Thursday in which a representative from the federal Small Business Administration will speak on business loan programs.
Sami Marcos, a loan officer with the agency, will consult with six local businesses to discuss the variety of business loans that the government offers.
The seminar will be from 8 a.m. to noon at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto.
