RemedyTemp Quarterly Profit Climbs 13%

RemedyTemp Inc., an Aliso Viejo staffing company, reported net income of $4.4 million, or 49 cents a share, for the fourth fiscal quarter, 13% higher than the $3.9 million, or 42 cents a share, posted a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 3 increased 28% to $150.3 million.

For the fiscal year, net income grew 9% to $15.2 million, or $1.71 a share, from $13.9 million, or $1.50 a share, from the prior year. Revenue rose 14% to $513.5 million.
