The Orange Unified School District school board reviewed an English immersion evaluation report stating limited English proficient students have successfully improved their language skills.
After two years of participation, about 66% of the students involved in the English immersion program have reached the two highest stages of oral English language development, which are intermediate and advanced fluency, according to the evaluation report.
