Anaheim Public Utilities will be holding meetings over the next week to inform customers about the possible development of a direct-access program in Anaheim. With direct access, customers will have the option of buying their energy from Anaheim Public Utilities or another company. Anaheim Public Utilities is currently the only service available.
The City Council is expected to consider the issue of direct access next spring. Customer input on the proposal will go to the Council.
The large business customer meeting is 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday , the small/medium business customer meeting is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 and the residential customer meeting is 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 18. All meetings will be held at the Gordon Hoyt Conference Room at City Hall West, 201 South Anaheim Blvd.
