Granada Hills 35, El Camino Real 7--Jason Winn completed 16 of 20 passes for 217 yards and four touchdowns to lead Granada Hills at El Camino Real.
El Camino Real (4-5, 1-3) had momentum going into halftime after Kenton Morris caught a 43-yard touchdown pass from Jonathan Graham with six seconds remaining in the half, cutting the deficit to 14-7.
But on the Highlanders’ first play in the thid quarter, Winn connected with Robert Ortega on a 62-yard scoring pass to put the Highlanders (7-2, 3-1) ahead, 21-7.
Ortega had two touchdown receptions.
On El Camino Real’s next drive, Josh Roepke intercepted a pass by Graham and returned it 25 yards to set up another Granada Hills touchdown, and the Conquistadores never threatened again.
Omari Mack had 67 yards in seven carries for Granada Hills. He also had a sack.
