Chatsworth 13, San Pedro 1--After San Pedro tied the score with back-to-back doubles in the fourth, the top-seeded Chancellors responded with six runs in its half of the inning and six more in the fifth, when the game was called because of the 10-run rule at Chatsworth.
Chatsworth (24-3) broke a 1-1 tie when No. 9 batter Charles Kenny hit a bases-loaded triple and scored on an errant throw. By the end of the inning, the Chancellors had sent 10 batters to the plate and taken a 7-1 lead.
San Pedro (18-10) helped Chatsworth by committing four errors, including three in the fourth inning, and allowing four stolen bases.
That made it easy for UCLA-bound left-hander Mike Kunes (11-1), who gave up two hits and struck out five.
