In another Division IV match:
Servite 17, Corona Santiago 1--Brock Heimann didn’t lose a game in singles for Servite (18-3), which plays Palm Desert Tuesday.
In Division I:
Capistrano Valley 12, Diamond Bar 6--Adam Clark and Mitchell Potsdam were trailing in their second-round set, 1-4, and came back to win in a tie breaker to give the Cougars an 8-4 lead. Capistrano Valley (18-3) plays Corona del Mar in the next round.
Dana Hills 14, Glendale Hoover 4--Brian Kent swept without losing a game, and Jon Lippert teamed with Jason Efstathiou for a 7-6, 6-0, 6-1 victory for the Dolphins (18-3), who play fourth-seeded Woodbridge.
Irvine 12, Murrieta Valley 6--Bobby Yan and Bryan Richter won, 6-7, 6-0, 6-1, for host Irvine (15-7), which plays Palos Verdes Peninsula in the third round.
Los Alamitos 16, Camarillo 2--Colin Boylan and Jon Nafarrete swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, for the visiting Griffins (19-1), who play Upland in the quarterfinals.
In Division III:
Canyon 13, Wildomar Elsinore 5--Arjun Makam finished 6-7, 7-5, 6-2, for host Canyon (14-6). Makam handed Elsinore’s No. 2 singles player his first loss this season. Canyon, which advances to play second-seeded Westlake Village Westlake, has not made a quarterfinal appearance since 1988.
Cypress 12, Whittier La Serna 6--Nikhil Daga won, 6-4, 6-4, 6-2, for visiting Cypress (16-6), which plays West Torrance, which upset third-seeded Santa Barbara San Marcos, 10-8.
