Caltrans and the Orange County Transportation Authority will host an open house on June 15, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Orange Unified School District offices, 1401 N. Handy St. Residents, motorists and business owners will have an opportunity to speak with agency representatives about the three-year improvement project underway on the Costa Mesa Freeway. The project will add one lane in each direction, widen existing lanes and over crossings, enhance traffic flow at the Costa Mesa Freeway-Garden Grove Freeway interchange, improve local streets, add sound walls and reconstruct the on- and offramps at Chapman, Katella and Lincoln avenues.
