* The circle has been completed. It took a Frenchman to tell us how “good” we once were and it took a Chinese to tell us how bad we have become. Alexis de Tocqueville said, “America is great because America is good.” Johnny Chung said, “Please, keep in mind that I didn’t create this system, you did” (May 12).
Yes, Mr. Chung, and you were allowed to abuse it. Yes, the American people do deserve better. Would that there were more “defiant patriot(s)” like Oliver North!
