The city will pay $72,800 for a document archive and retrieval system for City Hall’s records, under a plan approved recently by the City Council. The document imaging system will minimize storage space and labor required to manually store, retrieve and process paper and microfilm documents. All departments are approaching critical storage space needs, staff says. A La Mirada company has been awarded the contract to install the system. Information: (714) 573-3000.
