The Saddleback Area Historical Society will hold its May meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday. Lake Forest resident Michael Katz will be the featured speaker. Katz is painting a mural of local wildlife--coyotes, raccoons, cougars and hawks--at the new O’Neill Regional Park Nature Center. He will speak about preservation and his efforts to raise awareness of environmental issues through his work.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be in the Community Room of the Fidelity Federal Bank at El Toro and Trabuco roads. Refreshments will be served. Information: (562) 941-5059.
