Boys’ Basketball ‘Extravaganza’ Moving to Long Beach State

The Nike Extravaganza boys’ basketball tournament will move from the Bren Center to Long Beach State next year, Mater Dei Athletic Director Gary McKnight said Thursday.
McKnight said the one-day tournament, scheduled Feb. 5 at the Pyramid, will match Villa Park vs. Bellflower St. John Bosco, Ocean View vs. Servite, Santa Margarita vs. Glendora, Las Vegas Durango vs. Los Angeles Fairfax, L.A. Westchester vs. Lakewood Mayfair, Los Alamitos vs. Long Beach Poly, Mater Dei vs. Concord De La Salle and Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hills Academy vs. Compton Dominguez.
