Daniel Feldman of Valley Glen, a longtime Valley businessman and a former military officer, died Wednesday at his home following a short illness. He was 82.
Born in New York City, Feldman served in World War II, leading a parachute squadron as a second lieutenant.
After the war, he worked for nearly 25 years with Smith Corona before moving to Southern California in 1968.
Until his retirement, he was president of M/F marketing, a Studio City agency dealing exclusively with Fortune 500 companies.
Feldman is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughters Roberta Levine and Marla Minden; son Larry Feldman; sister Ida Feldman; and four grandsons and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Groman-Eden Mortuary, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills.
