American Custom in Bid to Buy French Firm

American Custom Components Inc., Santa Ana-based maker of wire connectors, said Wednesday that it agreed to buy French component manufacturer Pendar. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to the approval of both companies’ shareholders.
