The City Council recently approved a $60,000 contract to replace 60-year-old electrical underground wiring in the streets in the Wilshire Square neighborhood. The project is expected to be completed in a month. Wilshire Square is the neighborhood bounded by McFadden and Edinger avenues, and Main and Ross streets. Money for the project will come from the Public Works Agency Street Lighting Maintenance Activity account.
