LAGUNA WOODS

When Jim and Treva Antoniadis move into their new Laguna Woods home this fall, they will be the first residents of the city of 20,000 to not live in a gated retirement community.
Last February, Jim, 70, and Treva, 42, became managers of Extra Space Storage, a public storage facility with 669 units on Moulton Parkway and El Toro Road. Their job requires them to live on the site.
City Manager Leslie Keane said the Antoniadis’ unique, non-gated needs will be well-represented on the Laguna Woods City Council.
