Cal State Fullerton is moving up in the ranks of universities awarding degrees to minority students, according to a report published this month in “Black Issues in Higher Education.” The university is now 12th in the nation in awarding bachelor’s degrees to minorities. This is the third year in a row the university has increased its minority enrollment. Since 1997, the university’s total enrollment has grown from 23,785 to 25,550 students. The report is based on 1996-97 figures from the U.S. Department of Education.
