The City Council this week approved the concept of a for-profit adult day-care center at 4470 Lincoln Ave. The center would provide adults with recreation and health care while their guardians are at work. The council approved the concept on the conditions that the proper licensing be maintained and the facade be slightly redesigned. Councilmen Frank S. McCoy and Mike McGill cast the two dissenting votes, saying they believed Lincoln Avenue should be reserved for new retailers.
