The Orange County Marine Institute is offering a series of historical presentations about the life of Richard Henry Dana aboard the tall ship the Brig Pilgrim. Actor Jeffrey Paul Williams will portray Dana adventures aboard the ship that carried the explorer to Dana Point in 1834. The presentation, “Two Years Before the Mast,” plays Aug. 7 and 14 at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Information: (949) 496-2274.
