Unanswered Prayers

The House of Representatives’ proponents for the failed day of prayer resolution (June 30) shouldn’t be so discouraged. Prayer doesn’t work. Why, I have been praying that the Christian conservatives in our government would go away and also that we would have real gun control. My prayers have simply never been answered.
