Spot Advice Needs to Be Cleared Up

Regarding the article by James Dulley on hot water dispensers (“Hot Water Dispensers Convenient,” June 20):
Everyone should know that hot water sets stains in clothing and that cold water removes them.
Mr. Dulley suggested this use of the hot water dispenser to “clean spots from clothes.” He is all wet.
