* Story line--The Cardinal has been in a midseason “slump” not unlike last season’s, so perhaps not too much should be made of it. But Arizona and Connecticut showed UCLA a blueprint for how to beat the Cardinal, if the Bruins could duplicate their defensive pressure. A UCLA upset would throw the Pacific 10 race up in the air, but with Dan Gadzuric and Jerome Moiso bothered because of nagging injuries, the order is tall.
