Cause of Death Still Sought for Tustin Woman
- Share via
An autopsy conducted on a woman found dead at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course was inconclusive, and police said Sunday they will have to wait until they receive more detailed toxicology results before they can draw conclusions.
Those tests will show whether the woman had ingested drugs or alcohol and whether she suffered from any diseases, Tustin Police Lt. Christine George said.
“It’s kind of in limbo until we get something conclusive back,” George said.
The body of Linda Marie Foster, 38, of Tustin was discovered on Friday morning near the 18th fairway of the golf course, about 150 yards from the clubhouse. Foster was fully clothed but did not have a purse or any other belongings with her, police said.
Investigators said Foster was last seen alive about 4:30 p.m. in the clubhouse. There was evidence of minor injuries, but no signs of sexual assault or a struggle.
Anyone with information should call the Tustin Police Department at (714) 573-3250 or (714) 573-3200.
