The city’s Personnel/Risk Management Department will be purchasing new office furniture and making improvements with an $8,952 refund from the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co.
Most of the money will be spent on resurfacing walls in the department’s conference room and file room, which doubles as an office for part-time personnel. The City Council approved the expense last week.
