In the Brea Olinda boys’ basketball tournament:
No. 10 Brea Olinda 103, North Torrance 73--Landon Lewis scored 30 points, including six three-pointers, and Ryan Wilber had 27 points and 12 rebounds in the pool-play game for Brea (7-4).
Claremont 77, Orange Lutheran 57--Claremont (9-2) outscored Orange Lutheran, 51-31, in the second half to break open a close game. Jason Whieldon scored 30 points, including four three-pointers, for Orange Lutheran (9-2) in the pool-play game.
In the Downey Calvary Chapel tournament:
Big Bear 67, Brethren Christian 63--Mike Oparah scored 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Brethren Christian (6-5) in a consolation game.
In the Fort Meyers (Fla.) City of Palms tournament:
No. 1 Mater Dei 79, Boston (Mass.) English 70--Steve Scoggin scored 26 points, including four three-pointers, in the third-place game.
Jamal Sampson added 16 points and 11 rebounds for Mater Dei (10-1), which shot 66% from the field, converting 31 of 47 shots.
In the Lahainaluna (Hawaii) tournament:
Fullerton 50, Pacifica 41--Geo Villalba and Michael Bridgeford scored 12 points each in the fifth-place game on Maui. Fullerton (10-2) has more victories this season than it did all last season. Pacifica fell to 3-9.
In a nonleague game:
Calvary Chapel 67, Faith Academy (Philippines) 57--Torin Beeler scored 21 points and Tony Olivas had 18, including four three-pointers, for the Eagles.
Joshua Sherman added 10 points and 12 rebounds for Calvary Chapel (7-4).
In nonleague boys’ soccer:
No. 8 Servite 0, Katella 0--The Friars (11-2-1) played without five starters, who were out with the flu.
Goalkeeper James Towers had one save for host Servite.
In nonleague girls’ soccer:
Westminster 1, Magnolia 0--Goalie Lesley Hoyt had 10 saves and freshman striker Dianna Herrera scored in the second half for the Lions (5-1-2).
Magnolia is 2-4.
