Mater Dei 2, Capistrano Valley 1--Kevin Novak scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute to lead the Monarchs. Matt Fennell scored the other Mater Dei goal.
In the other semifinal:
Capistrano Valley 1, San Diego Mt. Carmel 0 (OT)--The Cougars defeated the Sundevils (9-2) on a goal in the ninth minute of overtime by Jarred Moine.
In a nonleague game:
No. 8 Servite 4, No. 7 Santa Ana 1--Rob Vallejo scored twice to lead the Friars (11-2) to their fifth win in a row.
