*** Tash, “Rap Life,” Loud. This member of the Los Angeles rap group Tha Alkaholiks delivers an enjoyable, balanced album with his first solo release. There’s plenty of the rowdy, party-flavored music his group is known for, but Tash switches gears by rocking some commercially viable grooves.
Keeping his lyrics clever and humorous, the Ohio native represents both the over- and the underground.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent). The albums are already released unless otherwise noted.
