Children and families living in three Anaheim motels will be given a holiday boost this weekend courtesy of the Orange County Rescue Mission. The organization is hosting a holiday celebration including gift distribution, holiday music, a children’s bounce house and complimentary flu shots. Also, Disneyland Resorts is donating more than 1,000 box lunches, and AT&T; will set up its Reach Out and Touch Booth. The booth will be available to motel residents to make free phone calls anywhere in the U.S.
The motels included in the holiday program are the Valencia Inn and Seville Motel on Saturday, and the El Dorado Inn on Sunday. The Rescue Mission is accepting toys, clothing and hygiene items for donation at its support office, 1421 Edinger St., Suite B, Tustin. Information: (714) 258-4450.
