7th Man Held in Sex Assault of La Habra Woman

A seventh man was arrested Monday in connection with the sexual assault of a 19-year-old La Habra woman over the weekend.
The man, whom authorities did not identify immediately, turned himself in at the police station, La Habra Police Sgt. David Cuen said.
The assault took place late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, investigators said. Police were called to the victim’s home about 5:45 a.m. Sunday.
The woman said she knew her attackers from the neighborhood and led police to a home on West Mountain View Avenue.
Police arrested six men whom the woman identified. They were Alvaro Gonzales, 20; Juan Gonzales, 27; Francisco Obleo, 24; Luis Navarro, 29; Victor Navarro, 41; and Salvador Reyes, 35, officials said.
The woman was treated at a local hospital and released Sunday.
