The Planning Commission will consider tonight whether to approve two wireless communication facilities involving the installation of as many as 30 small antennas.
Planning Manager Daniel Fox said the antennas would be located away from residential areas.
One facility would be at Ivy Glenn Drive in an office complex while the other would be installed on an existing water tank on Moulton Parkway.
Although residents have complained in the past when antennas were located close to their homes, city officials have not heard concerns about these facilities so far, Fox said.
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 27841 La Paz Road.
