LA PALMA

The La Palma and Cypress police departments, in a effort to prevent people from driving under the influence during the holiday season, will form a drunk-driving enforcement team.

One officer from each department will team up and cruise the streets on the weekends from now until Jan. 2.

The pair will work from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. and concentrate specifically on keeping drunk drivers off the streets.
