2,000 Free Gun Locks to Be Distributed

The Faith Connection of Ventura County, a nondenominational group of congregations and community organizations, is working with the county fire and sheriff’s departments to distribute about 2,000 firearm safety locks.
Beginning Dec. 15, gun locks supplied by the Faith Connection will be available free at all 31 county fire stations and at Sheriff’s Department stations in Ventura, Camarillo, Fillmore, Frazier Park and Thousand Oaks. The locks fit all firearms.
