Harvard-Westlake Girls Second-Best

Harvard-Westlake High finished second at 245, eight shots behind Irvine University, on Tuesday in the CIF-WSCGA girls’ golf championship at the SCGA Members’ Club in Murrieta.
Junior Ina Kim shot 74 for the Wolverines and tied for seventh in the individual standings of the season-ending tournament that matches the best from the Southern, Central, City and San Diego sections.
Hana Kim of Brentwood High, Ina’s sister and the Southern Section champion, shot 72 and finished third.
Walailak Satarak of Paramount defeated Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana of Long Beach Wilson in a playoff to win the individual title. Both shot 71 in regulation.
Krystal Shearer of Alemany and Courtney Renfro of Crescenta Valley had 76s and tied for 12th.
