Several people were injured in traffic accidents that tied up traffic in Irvine and Seal Beach Friday, police said.
In Irvine, four people were injured late Thursday at Alton Parkway and Toledo Way when an auto traveling west on Alton struck the driver’s side of another car also heading west, authorities said.
One of the injured, Seik Moy, remained in critical condition Friday night at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, officials said.
In Seal Beach Friday morning, Emanual Hernandez was traveling south on the San Diego Freeway when an object crashed through his windshield, causing him to swerve across lanes. Several other cars hit his Mercedes, police said.
Hernandez remained in critical condition late Friday at UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he is being treated for head trauma, according to hospital officials. Nobody else was seriously injured in the crash, authorities said.
