High Gas Prices

* The proposed one-day boycott of gasoline stations won’t do it. That which will is to not buy a specific brand for one month, starting May 1, on an alphabetical basis, starting with the letter A and progressively in the following months, e.g. C, E, S, U and T.
This can have an impact on gasoline prices and it will get the attention of the Legislature, the attorney general, the Board of Equalization and the Air Resources Board.

* So we want to send a message to fuel suppliers that gas prices are too high. We got used to fuel prices at historic lows. Did we really expect it to stay that way?
Send a message by not buying gas on one day? Realize what every drug pusher knows, that the addict will be back as soon as he runs out and will be willing to pay whatever is the going rate. If you really want to scare ‘em, show some independence. Try leaving the car at home, riding a bike to work or walking to the store. You might actually enjoy it and that will more than send a message, it’ll frighten the bejabbers out of them.
