Defending champion Georgia stayed on course for its fifth national title by winning the night session in the NCAA Gymnastics Championships. Georgia, Michigan and Nebraska will compete in tonight’s Super Six competition at the University of Utah. UCLA, Alabama and Arizona State qualified in the afternoon.
Utah’s Theresa Kulikowski became the first freshman to win the individual all-around title since Kentucky’s Jenny Hansen in 1993. Kulikowski posted an overall score of 39.675, edging Georgia senior Karin Lichey (39.575).
