The city is looking for about 300 people to participate in the countywide Volunteer Connection Day effort. Residents with an urge to clean up the city can do so from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Coordinator Eve Porter said volunteers will be assigned to a location once they have registered at the Scout Hut, at Lambert Road and Idaho Street.
