CFO Named to Disney’s Attractions Division

Disneyland Chief Financial Officer Byron H. Pollitt Jr. has been promoted to CFO of the Walt Disney Co.’s attractions division, overseeing financial matters at theme parks and resorts in Anaheim, Florida, France and Japan as well as Disney’s cruise line, theme park engineering and regional entertainment operations. Pollitt, 47, of San Marino, joined Burbank-based Disney in 1990. He held planning and financial analysis positions before moving to the theme park in 1992 as vice president of business planning. He became Disneyland CFO in 1994. As CFO and executive vice president of Walt Disney Attractions, he succeeds Eddie Carpenter, who retires in June.
