The Rev. Tari Lennon will begin a series of morning worship services at Neighborhood Congregational Church in Laguna Beach Sunday, to focus on world religions.
Lennon said she hopes to help her listeners better understand history and current world conflicts, as well as people of other faiths. “There really are some thoughtful people out there who want to know more,” Lennon said.
The first service will focus on Christ and the Jews, with following sessions focusing on Christianity’s relationship with Muslims, Alcoholics Anonymous, Buddhism and fundamentalist Christianity.
The final service in the series, on May 23, will focus on relation between Buddhism and Christianity, Lennon said.
The church is at 340 St. Ann’s Drive in Laguna Beach. Sunday services begin at 10 a.m. Information: (949) 494-8061.
