Members of the City Council will travel to Disney World in Florida to gather ideas and design possibilities for the city’s proposed Riverwalk entertainment center. The council approved the tentative plan Tuesday.
The Riverwalk proposal calls for theaters, shops and hotels near the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue. The trip is expected to cost taxpayers $4,800 for four City Council members and two city officials.
