The Local Agency Formation Commission has extended to April 29 the application deadline for the Sphere of Influence Community Task Force, which will work on a transition plan for the annexation of Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills. The extension was granted because Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills residents did not receive their applications until Monday. The task force will include two representatives each from Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills, and representatives from Lake Forest, the county, the Local Agency Formation Commission and the local group Cityhood Now!
