BOYS’ TENNIS

Thousand Oaks 14, Simi Valley 4--Andrew Lieu and Serge Mitrofanov each went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Lancers in a Marmonte League victory at Thousand Oaks.

Thousand Oaks (8-3, 4-1) beat Simi Valley for the 65th consecutive time in league play.

Granada Hills 7, Taft 0--Lee Weinstein and Yury Tsirulsky won their singles matches in straight sets for the Highlanders (9-0, 6-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference match at Granada Hills.

Westlake 12, San Marcos 6--The Warriors (9-0) prevailed in a nonleague match at North Ranch Country Club that featured two of the top six teams in the Southern Section Division III rankings.

Poly 6, Reseda 1--Chaitanya Aysola won in singles for Poly in a Valley Pac-8 Conference match at Reseda.

Granada Hills 400, Chatsworth 407--Darrin Schneider shot a four-over 76 at Knollwood Country Club to help the Highlanders (11-2, 6-0) clinch the Northwest Valley Conference title.

Birmingham 428, Grant 415--Scott Bashin shot a one-under-par 71 and sank a 50-yard chip shot for an eagle on the par-4, 315-yard 10th hole, leading the Braves (7-1, 7-1) to a 6A League victory at Hansen Dam Golf Course.

GIRLS’ SWIMMING

Louisville 103, Flintridge Sacred Heart 67--Melissa Siracuse of Flintridge Sacred Heart qualified for the Southern Section championships with a time of 1:12.16 in the 100 breaststroke.
