Poignant ‘Cabaret’ Helped Along by the Versatile Cast
- Share via
Watching the musical “Cabaret” while knowing that ethnic cleansing is now taking place not far from the setting of the musical added a special poignancy to our experience. We found the performance as strong and as biting as Michael Phillips described it in “Cabaret Is a Dark Turn to Evil Past” (March 5). Phillips’ review, however, should have included the Kit Kat Girls, who were dancing and singing on the main stage one minute and playing in the band above the stage the next, without missing a beat.
