The estimated 36,000 daily commuters who travel the torn-up Katella Avenue over-crossing at the Santa Ana Freeway will face a new snarl starting early Monday: The four-lane bridge is being closed for the final phase of construction. The closure will last 10 days as crews turn the over-crossing into a completely realigned under-crossing, which will ease traffic flow. Caltrans officials suggest taking Orangewood Avenue. Information: (800) 724-0353.
