The City Council this week rejected a plan that would restructure the way cities pay for services from the Orange County Fire Authority. The council is recommending that the OCFA continue operating under the current funding structure and that five-year contract extensions be given to cash-contract cities. The Fire Authority will consider the issue again in June.
