A Laguna Beach High School senior is one of five winners of the Stan Chambers Journalism Award, presented by KTLA Channel 5. At 9:30 a.m. Monday, Chambers will award Meike Bui-Bender a $1,000 scholarship check and a certificate in recognition of her essay on “What Matters Most.” In it, she explained that safety, security and her family were most important to her. Meike will also be able to produce a video on her winning entry, slated for a May airing.
