* The disturbing wave of rapes, kidnappings and murders of women and girls throughout California once again has females going to bed at night having bad dreams. When it comes to physical intimidation we are utterly helpless.
It seems glaringly obvious that self-defense classes should be required learning for all girls from elementary school age on. It’s physical education at its most basic, and it ought to be second nature.
