* Re “New York Officers Charged With Murder,” April 1: Again, the pattern continues with law enforcement whereby black males and females are profiled, targeted and murdered by police personnel across the country. The indictment of the killers of Amadou Diallo is ample proof that there is a cancer festering on a national scale. It is appalling that police personnel and defenders of these killers are still using the same lame excuses for killing innocent people!
